Q + A

How do we get there?

Taos New Mexico is remote, but is more accessible than it may seem. We suggest different travel options.

Driving: If within a 6 hour drive from Taos, we suggest driving to the location. From almost every direction, driving to Taos provides a unique experience. If driving from the Denver area, consider stopping at the Great Sand Dunes National Monument to take advantage of the beautiful 4.5 hour drive.

Flying: There are three regional airports available to fly into Northern NM.

1. Taos Airport

For $500-$700, you can fly to a routing city, then round trip directly into Taos airport (across the street from our venue). These flights are available from Austin, Dallas, Carlsbad, and Burbank. Please see more information on the semi-private JSX flights here.

2. Santa Fe Regional Airport

Santa Fe Regional Airport is located 1 hour and 45 minutes south of our wedding location and is served by both United and American. Consider renting a car from Hertz or Avis for on airport service, although Enterprise is also available off airport. Consider arriving during the day to enjoy the 1 hour and 45 minute drive north boasting beautiful landscapes and historical sights. We are planning to offer a charter bus to the Santa Fe Airport with scheduled times TBD.

3. Albuquerque International Sunport

The Albuquerque airport, 2.5 hours south, is the closest major airport to Taos with all standard airport amenities, carriers, and rental car companies.

Valet and vehicle transportation services are also available from both the Santa Fe and Albuquerque airports. This may be price effective for larger groups. Please visit Santa Fe Valet https://santafevalet.com/ or Taos Rides https://taosrides.com/ for more information and pricing.
