Danny and Skye met on a snowy Colorado evening in February 2021. They met on the dating app Hinge and after Danny’s unwavering pursuit and frequent date requests, Skye finally said yes. Danny was super weird on their first date, but after a couple of tequila shots (Skye’s idea, obviously) they stayed up late into the night talking about everything from quantum physics to what types of soups are the best. Much to Danny’s surprise, Skye actually texted him back the next day (even though she didn’t say yes to his spontaneous offer of flying to San Francisco for the weekend).

As the COVID-19 fog began to lift on Denver, a budding whirlwind romance began. Skye and Danny were nearly inseparable, spending almost every day together. They quickly integrated with their respective friend groups and spent their time skiing, hiking, and enjoying all that the Colorado mountains and Denver had to offer.

And the travel commenced. Skye and Danny flew and drove everywhere they could, exploring the world togeter. From New Mexico to Wyoming and Arizona, they saw national parks and unique places, a cornerstone of their relationship to this day. Danny took Skye to Venice for their 6 month anniversary, and many early honeymoons to follow in Austria, Japan, Mexico City, Colombia.. Adventuring is their favorite!

Their love only continued to grow and they weren’t shy about it. Less than six months after they met they moved in together, further solidifying that they were perfect for each other in every way.

Over the years, they have supported each other in their personal growth, their careers, met new people all over the world and built even stronger bonds with their friends and families. They also got a very small dog, Sheep Luis Dietz, who continues to bring them daily joy.

Danny finally proposed to Skye on a rainy afternoon on the Santa Cruz beach boardwalk in California (she finally said yes that weekend trip to San Francisco).

Life hasn’t slowed for the two of them. While planning their wedding, they’ve also decided to buy and fix up a 1906 bungalow in downtown Denver. Danny joined another startup company and Skye moved into a large generative AI manager role at Amazon. Danny joined a band. Skye finally finished all seasons of 90-day fiance. They’ve traveled the world. They host parties and take weekend trips every time they can. Their wedding is an extension of their eclectic loves and they look forward to celebrating with you!
